2019 Eagleson Landscape Co. Family Update

Eagleson Landscape Co

The end of the year is suddenly upon us, and what a year it has been. Filled with some great highs and very low lows, it’s truly hard to believe another year has come and gone. As a business and as a family, we are doing wonderfully! The company has seen many exciting projects throughout the year, and we are looking forward to closing the year with two more that have us humming with joy. Thanks to you, our clients, we are excited for what the future has in store for all of us here at Eagleson Landscape Co.

Let’s recap a little of what the Eagleson Landscape Co family has been up to this year.

Bill and Elizabeth have been busily growing and cultivating their personal garden. Wonderful additions, including a conifer garden and new automatic irrigation system, have made the space more functional and beautiful. Of course, more Hosta have been added to the collection and a new space has been created for fruiting trees and berries. They enjoyed traveling around the region looking at various gardens and have learned new techniques in Bonsai and propagating cuttings. They also enjoyed trips to the Adirondack Mountains and the Outer Banks in North Carolina.

Sam and his wife Danielle had a year full of firsts together as a married couple. They moved into a new house together, hosted their first Thanksgiving, and have had their hands full with their two puppies and cat. They have enjoyed trips to Seattle, Washington D.C., and the Outer Banks. They look forward to spending the holiday season in their new home and are eager to see what 2020 brings!

Katie is still living in Japan teaching English. She has continued her journey in school and is doing well. Katie traveled throughout Japan and spent time in Korea. She is looking forward to visiting Thailand early next year, but the big news is she will be moving to Korea next year to continue her teaching. She is excited about the new adventure, but sad to leave a country she loves so much. 2019 has been a big year of change for Katie and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

As a family, we were struck with the loss late this year of Carol Underwood, Elizabeth’s mother. She was a wonderful spirit and is dearly missed. The holidays will be difficult for us, but we hold her close in our hearts.

2019 has been a big year for all of us, and Eagleson Landscape Co. is poised to continue strongly into 2020. Our family is happy and ready to take on another year together. To all of our clients, friends and family, thank you for being a part of our lives this year. From all of us, have a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year!
